This series looks at Jesus in the flesh: a man of compassion, a man of sorrows, a man who faced real temptation and even anger, yet without sin. Because He entered every detail of human life, He's able to help you in yours.

Man of Compassion

Man of Sorrows

Hebrews 2:17-18 That is why he had to enter into every detail of human life. Then, when he came before God as high priest to get rid of the people’s sins, he would have already experienced it all himself—all the pain, all the testing—and would be able to help where help was needed. “Man Of Sorrows” I want to talk to you about how you can relate and receive the help of Jesus in your pain and sorrow. Sorrows - physical and mental pain, and anguish Grief - physical sickness and disease Acquainted - to know by experience. John 16:33 In this world you will have trouble.

Man of Temptation

“As a man, Jesus was subject to the needs, limitations, and frailties of a human being in this world. He had a body with nerve endings like ours, emotions that tore him as do ours. That is what it means for him to have been fully human.” Hebrews 2:14,17-18 Because God’s children are human beings —made of flesh and blood— the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death.

Man of Anger
