What is Planted?

What is Planted?

Planted is a public declaration during a weekend service that says, “This is my church family, and I’m ready to put down roots.” In Planted, you’ll:

  • Gather at 10:00 AM in the Adult Ministry Classroom (for the duration of service).

  • Step forward briefly when invited for a spoken declaration (no mic) and pastoral prayer—you won’t be on the stage.

  • Return to the classroom to hear what membership means and provides at New Song, including a short personal development teaching.


Is Planted required for membership?
No. Planted is optional but encouraged. It’s a beautiful way to celebrate your commitment with the church family.

Why Planted matters
Planted is how we say “welcome home.” It honors your commitment and reminds our church that their invitations, prayers, serving, and giving are bearing fruit. We celebrate because family growth is worth celebrating!
