Suffering awakens a deep homesickness in us—a longing for Eden that only Jesus can satisfy. Through the cross, we discover that God doesn't ask us to understand every painful moment, but to trust the goodness of the One who entered our pain, carried our grief, and promises to restore what was lost. He invites us out of striving and into abiding—a place where joy isn't found in the absence of suffering, but in His presence through it.
