Big Idea:
The whole Bible points to Jesus—and the story isn't over yet!
Read Together
John 3:16– "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
Revelation 22:20– "Surely I am coming soon."
The Story
Over the last 24 days, we've traveled through the whole Bible—beginning in Eden, waiting through the promises, rejoicing at the manger, and looking forward to the new creation.
And what do we see? The Best Story of All is about Jesus!
• He is the Snake Crusher. • He is the true Ark. • He is the Lamb who takes away our sins. • He is the Good Shepherd and the Risen King.
The Bible is not just a story from the past. It is the living story of God's love, still true for us today. Jesus came at Christmas, He died and rose again at Easter, and one day He will come back.
That means the story isn't finished yet. And the best part? You and I are invited in.
Advent Connection
Advent isn't just about waiting—it's about believing and belonging. Jesus came once to save us, and He is coming again to take us home. That's the hope we carry into every Christmas, and into every day of our lives.
Talk About It
• What is your favorite part of the Best Story of All? • How can we remember Jesus in our Christmas celebrations? • How does knowing Jesus is coming back give us hope?
Activity
Unwrap the Story
• Wrap up a small cross (or even just draw one on paper and wrap it like a present). • Let the kids unwrap it together. • Talk about how Jesus is the greatest gift ever given.
Prayer
Thank You, God, for giving us Jesus—the best gift of all. Thank You that the story of the Bible is our story too, when we trust in Him. Help us to live with hope, to share Your love, and to wait with joy for the day Jesus comes again. Amen.
Family Challenge
Tonight, as you finish Advent, say together: "The Best Story of All is about Jesus—and it's the story we live in today."
