Home: Building a Home of Prayer

Last week, we learned to meet God in the secret place and strengthen our personal history with Him. This week, we turn outward, inviting God to dwell in our homes and relationships. As we pray for our families and community, we are simply asking the Lord to fill the places with Himself and His kingdom.

Day 8: Rhythms

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 "These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. And you shall repeat them diligently to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up."

Prayer Type: Intercession

Focus: Ask God to make Scripture the regular conversation in your home. Envision your household as a place where God's Word shapes daily rhythms, relationships, and responses to life's challenges.

Activation: Pick one verse for your household this week. Say it at breakfast/dinner and incorporate it into your prayer over the meal. Invite family members to share what the verse means to them.
